- Week One we will discuss Hybrid Warfare in the Grey Zone.
- Week Two is two-fold, with analysis of Russia's new generational warfare, with emphasis on "Russian Little Green Men & Composite Warfare: The Ukraine and Wagner's Mercenaries. The second part of Week Two will concentrate on Iranian Way of War Today.
- Week Three we will look to answer the question, "Do we dust off War Plan Orange 1.0? Or do we need a WPO 2.0?", with a deep dive into China's OBOR Comparison to Japan in the Inter-war Years.
- Week Four: We will round out the course with a recap of Current Analysis: "Peer" and "Near Peer" Protagonists as we set forth with the presentation of our final paper.
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Discuss and assess hybrid warfare in the Grey Zone.
- Examine Russian "Little Green Men" and Composite Generational Warfare specifically the Ukraine, Wagner’s Mercenaries and other World of Warcraft.
- Analyze the Iranian Way of War today.
- Compare and contract China’s One Belt One Road Initiative (OBOR) comparison to Japan in the Inter-war years.
