ED571 provides students the opportunity to expand their knowledge and skills and takes a broader focus that includes designing a course and developing a course syllabus on a topic of their choice.

This course prepares educators to design and teach complete courses, with emphasis on online and hybrid learning. Students learn how to connect course outcomes to deliverables, design meaningful assignments, facilitate discussions, select grading systems, and ensure course rigor aligns with the appropriate academic level. The course culminates in a fully developed course shell ready for delivery.
