This course will introduce mid-level professionals, as well as military personnel, to the basic components of industrial control systems for microgrids and enterprise grids, the role of telecommunications and automation in the operation of industrial control systems, and the risks of cyber threats to industrial control systems. Learners will have an increased knowledge and understanding about the operating fundamentals and design of industrial control systems. The course focuses on the basic knowledge needed to understand industrial control systems. (4 PDHs)
